I’ve spent my career navigating complexity, bringing people together, and getting things done.
As former Chair of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, an elected leader for more than 12 years, and a founder, executive, governing board leader, and trailblazer, I understand what it means to be responsible for results.
Drawing on more than 30 years of executive, governance, public affairs, and organizational leadership experience, my journey has often required creating pathways where none existed before. It has taught me how to navigate complex systems, build consensus, lead through uncertainty, and move ideas into action.

Today, I work with executives, governing boards, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven leaders to strengthen leadership, improve organizational effectiveness, navigate complexity, align diverse stakeholders, and create meaningful and lasting impact.
